17 And at the time for the banquet he sent his servant[1] to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Es 6:14; Pr 9:3; Pr 9:5)

17 At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, “Come, for everything is now ready.” 

New International Reader’s Version

17 Then the day of the banquet arrived. He sent his servant to those who had been invited. The servant told them, “Come. Everything is ready now.”

17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
