Luke 11:8

English Standard Version

8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence[1] he will rise and give him whatever he needs. (Lu 18:1) 

New International Version

8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity[1] he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 I tell you, that person will not get up. And he won’t give you bread just because he is your friend. But because you keep bothering him, he will surely get up. He will give you as much as you need. 

King James Version

8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
