35 And the next day he took out two denarii[1] and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ (Mt 18:28)

New International Version

35 The next day he took out two denarii[1] and gave them to the innkeeper. “Look after him,” he said, “and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.” (Mt 20:2)

New International Reader’s Version

35 The next day he took out two silver coins. He gave them to the owner of the inn. “Take care of him,” he said. “When I return, I will pay you back for any extra expense you may have.”

King James Version

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
