12 And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him. (Ex 30:30; Le 21:10; Le 21:12; Ps 133:2) 

New International Version

12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head. He anointed him to set him apart to serve the LORD.
