Leviticus 24:21

English Standard Version

21 Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death. (Le 24:17; Le 24:18) 

New International Version

21 Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death. 

New International Reader’s Version

21 Whoever kills an animal must pay its owner. But if they kill a human being, they must be put to death. 

King James Version

21 And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
