Leviticus 23:22

English Standard Version

22 “And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.” (Le 19:9; De 24:19; Ru 2:2)

New International Version

22 ‘ “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.” ’

New International Reader’s Version

22 ‘ “Suppose you are gathering your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the corn you missed. Leave some for the poor people and the outsiders who live among you. I am the LORD your God.” ’

King James Version

22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
