Leviticus 23:27

27 “Now on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves[1] and present a food offering to the Lord. (Le 16:29; Nu 29:7)

New International Version

27 ‘The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves,[1] and present a food offering to the Lord.

New International Reader’s Version

27 ‘The tenth day of the seventh month is the day when sin is paid for. Come together for a special service. Do not eat any food. Bring a food offering to the LORD.

27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
