Leviticus 22:8

English Standard Version

8 He shall not eat what dies of itself or is torn by beasts, and so make himself unclean by it: I am the Lord.’ (Le 7:24) 

New International Version

8 He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, and so become unclean through it. I am the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 He must not eat anything found dead or torn apart by wild animals. If he does, it will make him ‘unclean’. I am the LORD. 

King James Version

8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts , he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.
