Leviticus 17:7

English Standard Version

7 So they shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to goat demons, after whom they whore. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations. (Ex 34:15) 

New International Version

7 They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols[1] to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.” 

New International Reader’s Version

7 The Israelites must stop offering any of their sacrifices to statues of gods that look like goats. When they offer sacrifices to those statues, they are not faithful to me. This is a law for them that will last for all time to come.’ ” 

King James Version

7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
