Leviticus 16:31

English Standard Version

31 It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; it is a statute forever. (Le 16:29; Le 23:32) 

New International Version

31 It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves; it is a lasting ordinance. 

New International Reader’s Version

31 That day is a sabbath for you. You must rest on it. You must not eat anything on that day. This is a law that will last for all time to come. 

King James Version

31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
