18 They dogged our steps so that we could not walk in our streets; our end drew near; our days were numbered, for our end had come. (La 3:52; Eze 7:2; Eze 7:6; Am 8:2) 

New International Version

18 People stalked us at every step, so we could not walk in our streets. Our end was near, our days were numbered, for our end had come. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 People hunted us down no matter where we went. We couldn’t even walk in our streets. Our end was near, so we only had a few days to live. Our end had come. 

King James Version

18 They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come.
