Lamentations 4:14

English Standard Version

14 They wandered, blind, through the streets; they were so defiled with blood that no one was able to touch their garments. (Nu 19:16; Isa 59:10) 

New International Version

14 Now they grope through the streets as if they were blind. They are so defiled with blood that no-one dares to touch their garments. 

New International Reader’s Version

14 Now those prophets and priests have to feel their way along the streets as if they were blind. The blood of those they killed has made them ‘unclean’. So no one dares to touch their clothes. 

King James Version

14 They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.
