English Standard Version

1 How the Lord in his anger has set the daughter of Zion under a cloud! He has cast down from heaven to earth the splendor of Israel; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger. (1Ch 28:2; Isa 14:15; La 3:44; Mt 11:23) 

New International Version

1 [1] How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger[2]! He has hurled down the splendour of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 See how the Lord covered the city of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He threw Israel’s glory down from heaven to earth. When he was angry, he turned his back on his own city. 

King James Version

1 How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!
