Judges 9:36

English Standard Version

36 And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, “Look, people are coming down from the mountaintops!” And Zebul said to him, “You mistake[1] the shadow of the mountains for men.” (Jud 9:7; Jud 9:25) 

New International Version

36 When Gaal saw them, he said to Zebul, ‘Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains!’ Zebul replied, ‘You mistake the shadows of the mountains for men.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

36 Gaal saw them. He said to Zebul, ‘Look! People are coming down from the tops of the mountains!’ Zebul replied, ‘You are wrong. Those aren’t people. They are just the shadows of the mountains.’ 

King James Version

36 And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, Behold, there come people down from the top of the mountains. And Zebul said unto him, Thou seest the shadow of the mountains as if they were men.
