22 Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, “Rule over us, you and your son and your grandson also, for you have saved us from the hand of Midian.” 

New International Version

22 The Israelites said to Gideon, ‘Rule over us – you, your son and your grandson – because you have saved us from the hand of Midian.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

22 The Israelites said to Gideon, ‘Rule over us. We want you, your son and your grandson to be our rulers. You have saved us from the power of Midian.’
