Judges 6:1

English Standard Version

1 The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hand of Midian seven years. (Ge 25:2; Nu 25:17; Jud 2:19; Hab 3:7) 

New International Version

1 The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and for seven years he gave them into the hands of the Midianites. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 The Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. So for seven years he handed them over to the people of Midian. 

King James Version

1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
