Judges 21:1

English Standard Version

1 Now the men of Israel had sworn at Mizpah, “No one of us shall give his daughter in marriage to Benjamin.” (Jud 20:1; Jud 21:18) 

New International Version

1 The men of Israel had taken an oath at Mizpah: ‘Not one of us will give his daughter in marriage to a Benjaminite.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

1 The men of Israel had made a promise at Mizpah. They had said, ‘Not one of us will give his daughter to be married to a man from Benjamin.’ 

King James Version

1 Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.
