Joshua 9:9

English Standard Version

9 They said to him, “From a very distant country your servants have come, because of the name of the Lord your God. For we have heard a report of him, and all that he did in Egypt, (De 20:15; Jos 2:10; Jos 6:27) 

New International Version

9 They answered: ‘Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the Lord your God. For we have heard reports of him: all that he did in Egypt, 

New International Reader’s Version

9 They answered, ‘We’ve come from a country that’s very far away. We’ve come because the LORD your God is famous. We’ve heard reports about him. We’ve heard about everything he did in Egypt. 

King James Version

9 And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,
