Joshua 9:6

English Standard Version

6 And they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him and to the men of Israel, “We have come from a distant country, so now make a covenant with us.” (Jos 5:10) 

New International Version

6 Then they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him and the Israelites, ‘We have come from a distant country; make a treaty with us.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

6 They went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal. They spoke to him and the Israelites. They said, ‘We’ve come from a country that’s far away. Make a peace treaty with us.’ 

King James Version

6 And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.
