Joshua 4:3

3 and command them, saying, ‘Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’” (De 27:2; Jos 3:13; Jos 3:15; Jos 4:8; Jos 4:19; 1Ki 18:31)

New International Version

3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.’

New International Reader’s Version

3 Tell them to get 12 stones from the middle of the river. They must pick them up from right where the priests stood. They must carry the stones over with all of you. And they must put them down at the place where you will stay tonight.’

King James Version

3 And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests'feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.
