Joshua 3:13

English Standard Version

13 And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap.” (Ex 15:8; Jos 3:11; Jos 3:15; Ps 78:13; Ps 114:3) 

New International Version

13 And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the Lord – the Lord of all the earth – set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

13 The priests will carry the ark of the LORD. He’s the Lord of the whole earth. As soon as the priests step into the Jordan, it will stop flowing. The water that’s coming down the river will pile up in one place. That’s how you will know that the living God is among you.’ 

King James Version
