English Standard Version

15 Now the name of Hebron formerly was Kiriath-arba.[1] (Arba[2] was the greatest man among the Anakim.) And the land had rest from war. (Ge 23:2; Ge 35:27; Jos 10:36; Jos 11:23; Jos 14:13; Jud 1:10) 

New International Version

15 (Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba after Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites.) Then the land had rest from war. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba. It was named after Arba. He was the greatest man among the Anakites. So the land had peace and rest. 

King James Version

15 And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.
