English Standard Version

2 Their inheritance was by lot, just as the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses for the nine and one-half tribes. (Nu 26:56; Nu 33:54; Nu 34:13) 

New International Version

2 Their inheritances were assigned by lot to the nine-and-a-half tribes, as the Lord had commanded through Moses. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 The shares of nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh were decided by casting lots. That’s what the LORD had commanded through Moses. 

King James Version

2 By lot was their inheritance, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half tribe.
