English Standard Version

16 So their territory was from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the tableland by Medeba; (Nu 21:30; Jos 13:9) 

New International Version

16 The territory from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the middle of the gorge, and the whole plateau past Medeba 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Their territory starts at Aroer on the rim of the River Arnon valley. It includes the town in the middle of the valley. It includes all of the high plains near Medeba. 

King James Version

16 And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
