Joshua 11:11

English Standard Version

11 And they struck with the sword all who were in it, devoting them to destruction;[1] there was none left that breathed. And he burned Hazor with fire. (Jos 10:40) 

New International Version

11 Everyone in it they put to the sword. They totally destroyed[1] them, not sparing anyone that breathed, and he burned Hazor itself. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 The army of Israel killed everyone in Hazor with their swords. Its people had been set apart to the LORD to be destroyed. Israel’s army didn’t spare anyone who breathed. Then Joshua burned down the city. 

King James Version

11 And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them : there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
