Joshua 10:26

English Standard Version

26 And afterward Joshua struck them and put them to death, and he hanged them on five trees. And they hung on the trees until evening. (Jos 8:29) 

New International Version

26 Then Joshua put the kings to death and exposed their bodies on five poles, and they were left hanging on the poles until evening. 

New International Reader’s Version

26 Joshua put the five kings to death. He stuck a pole through each of their bodies. Then he set the poles up where people could see the bodies. He left them there until evening. 

King James Version

26 And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
