34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave[1] to sin. (Ro 6:16; Tit 3:3; 2Pe 2:19) 

New International Version

34 Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 

New International Reader’s Version

34 Jesus replied, ‘What I’m about to tell you is true. Everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 

King James Version

34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
