John 6:7

English Standard Version

7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii[1] worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.” (Mr 6:37)

New International Version

7 Philip answered him, ‘It would take more than half a year’s wages[1] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!’

New International Reader’s Version

7 Philip answered him, ‘Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!’

King James Version

7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
