John 6:58

English Standard Version

58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread[1] the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” (Joh 6:31; Joh 6:33; Joh 6:49) 

New International Version

58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live for ever.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Long ago your people ate manna and died. But whoever eats this bread will live for ever.’ 

King James Version

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
