40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

40 My Father wants all who look to the Son and believe in him to have eternal life. I will raise them up on the last day.’ 

King James Version

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
