6 Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.[1] (Mt 4:2; Mt 8:24; Mt 21:18; Joh 19:28) 

New International Version

6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Jacob’s well was there. Jesus was tired from the journey. So he sat down by the well. It was about noon. 

King James Version

6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
