New International Version

39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, ‘He told me everything I’ve ever done.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

39 Many of the Samaritans from the town of Sychar believed in Jesus. They believed because of what the woman had said about him. She said, ‘He told me everything I’ve ever done.’ 

King James Version

39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
