36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (Mt 19:16; Joh 3:3; Joh 3:15; Joh 5:24; Joh 6:40; Joh 6:47; Joh 6:54; Joh 11:25; Joh 20:31; Ro 2:8; Eph 5:6; Col 3:6; 1Jo 5:12)

36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. 

New International Reader’s Version

36 Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who does not believe in the Son will not have life. God’s anger remains on them.’ 

King James Version

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
