22 After this Jesus and his disciples went into the Judean countryside, and he remained there with them and was baptizing. (Joh 3:26; Joh 4:1) 

New International Version

22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptised. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the countryside of Judea. There he spent some time with them. And he baptised people there. 

King James Version

22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
