26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” (Joh 2:4; Joh 13:23)

26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing near by, he said to her, ‘Woman,[1] here is your son,’ 

New International Reader’s Version

26 Jesus saw his mother there. He also saw the disciple he loved standing nearby. Jesus said to his mother, ‘Dear woman, here is your son.’

26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
