John 18:32

English Standard Version

32 This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was going to die. (Mt 20:19; Mt 26:2; Mr 10:33; Lu 18:32; Joh 12:32; Joh 13:18) 

New International Version

32 This took place to fulfil what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die. 

New International Reader’s Version

32 This happened so that what Jesus said about how he was going to die would come true. 

King James Version

32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
