John 15:19

English Standard Version

19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (Lu 6:26; Joh 17:14; Joh 17:16; Ga 1:4; Jas 4:4; 1Jo 4:5) 

New International Version

19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you like one of its own. But you do not belong to the world. I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 

King James Version
