John 12:21

21 So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” (Joh 1:44) 

New International Version

21 They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. ‘Sir,’ they said, ‘we would like to see Jesus.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

21 They came to ask Philip for a favour. Philip was from Bethsaida in Galilee. ‘Sir’, they said, ‘we would like to see Jesus.’ 

King James Version

21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
