38 Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. (Isa 22:16; Mt 27:60; Mr 15:46; Lu 24:2; Joh 11:33; Joh 20:1) 

New International Version

38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 

New International Reader’s Version

38 Once more Jesus felt very sad. He came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone in front of the entrance. 

King James Version

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
