40 He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and there he remained. (Joh 1:28) 

New International Version

40 Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptising in the early days. There he stayed,

40 Then Jesus went back across the River Jordan. He went to the place where John had been baptising in the early days. There he stayed. 

King James Version
