John 1:51

English Standard Version

51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you,[1] you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” (Ge 28:12; Eze 1:1; Da 7:13; Mt 3:16; Lu 3:21) 

New International Version

51 He then added, ‘Very truly I tell you,[1] you[2] will see “heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on” the Son of Man.’ (Ge 28:12) 

New International Reader’s Version

51 Then he said to the disciples, ‘What I’m about to tell you is true. You will see heaven open. You will see the angels of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man.’ 

King James Version

51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
