26 John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, (Mt 3:11; Mr 1:7; Lu 3:16; Ac 1:5; Ac 13:25)

26 ‘I baptise with[1] water,’ John replied, ‘but among you stands one you do not know.

26 ‘I baptise people with water,’ John replied. ‘But someone is standing among you whom you do not know.
