Joel 3:16

English Standard Version

16 The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel. (Isa 4:6; Isa 25:4; Jer 25:30; Joe 2:10; Joe 2:11; Am 1:2) 

New International Version

16 The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 The LORD will roar like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice will sound like thunder from Zion. The earth and the heavens will tremble. But the LORD will keep the people of Israel safe. He will be a place of safety for them. 

King James Version

16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
