10 The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. (Ps 18:7; Isa 13:10; Eze 32:7; Joe 3:15; Joe 3:16; Am 8:8; Mt 24:29; Re 9:2)

10 Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 As they march forward, the earth shakes. The heavens tremble as they approach. The sun and moon grow dark. And the stars stop shining.

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
