Joel 1:17

English Standard Version

17 The seed shrivels under the clods;[1] the storehouses are desolate; the granaries are torn down because the grain has dried up. (Joe 1:11; Mal 2:3) 

New International Version

17 The seeds are shrivelled beneath the clods.[1] The storehouses are in ruins, the granaries have been broken down, for the grain has dried up. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 The seeds have dried up in the ground. The corn is also gone. The storerooms have been destroyed. The barns are broken down. 

King James Version

17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
