5 The hungry eat his harvest, and he takes it even out of thorns,[1] and the thirsty pant[2] after his[3] wealth. 

New International Version

5 The hungry consume his harvest, taking it even from among thorns, and the thirsty pant after his wealth. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 Hungry people eat up the crops of the foolish. They even take the food that grows among thorns. Thirsty people long for the wealth of the foolish. 

King James Version

5 Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.
