28 And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” (De 4:6; Ps 111:10; Pr 1:7; Pr 3:7; Pr 14:16; Pr 16:6; Ec 12:13)

28 And he said to the human race, ‘The fear of the Lord – that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.’

28 He said to human beings, ‘Have respect for the Lord. That will prove you are wise. Avoid evil. That will show you have understanding.’

28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
