English Standard Version

9 He has torn me in his wrath and hated me; he has gnashed his teeth at me; my adversary sharpens his eyes against me. (Job 18:4; Job 30:21; Ps 35:16; Ps 37:12; Ps 112:10; La 2:16; Ho 6:1; Am 1:11; Ac 7:54)

9 God assails me and tears me in his anger and gnashes his teeth at me; my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 God is angry with me. He attacks me and tears me up. He grinds his teeth at me. He stares at me as if he were my enemy. 

King James Version

9 He teareth me in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
