Jeremiah 4:3

English Standard Version

3 For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: “Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. (Ho 10:12; Mt 13:7; Mt 13:22; Mr 4:7; Mr 4:18; Lu 8:7; Lu 8:14) 

New International Version

3 This is what the Lord says to the people of Judah and to Jerusalem: ‘Break up your unploughed ground and do not sow among thorns. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Here is what the LORD is telling the people of Judah and Jerusalem. He says, ‘Your hearts are as hard as a field that has not been ploughed. So change your ways and produce good crops. Do not plant seeds among thorns.
