Jeremiah 37:5

English Standard Version

5 The army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem. (Jer 32:2; Jer 34:21; Jer 37:11; Eze 17:15) 

New International Version

5 Pharaoh’s army had marched out of Egypt, and when the Babylonians[1] who were besieging Jerusalem heard the report about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 The armies of Babylon were attacking Jerusalem. They received a report that Pharaoh’s army had marched out of Egypt to help Zedekiah. So armies of Babylon pulled back from Jerusalem. 

King James Version

5 Then Pharaoh' army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.
